ALL ABOUT EGGS
1st of ESO students have carried out a project about eggs. First of all, they took a photo of an egg from their fridge and we commented what the different numbers of the code mean. Then we learned about the advantages and disadvantages of the different egg codes. Here you have some of the leaflets they have designed to persuade customers to buy healthy eggs.

Cloenda del programa Èxit d’Anglès
Dijous 31 de maig, els i les alumnes de l’Alzina i d’altres instituts que han participat en el programa Èxit d’Anglès es van desplaçar fins a la sala d’actes de l’Escola Oficial d’Idiomes de les Drassanes. No tothom va poder venir (per els qui no hi éreu, tenim un petit detall que us faran arribar els companys).
A l’EOI de Drassanes l’alumnat de l’Alzina va gaudir d’un berenar angloamericà i van cantar cançons (karaoke).
Es van acomiadar dels seus “great friends” amb abraçades i desitjos de bones vacances.
Va ser una bona cloenda. Bona feina i gràcies a tots i a totes!

Mini project about healthy food
During this course 1st of ESO students have been involved in “Programa de Salut Integral” doing several activities related to different subjects. One of these subjects is Science. After having studied relevant issues such as healthy foods and drinks and the Mediterranean diet in Science, and taking advantage of the fact that in the English subject students were learning about the British meals, during 4 sessions students have carried out a mini project about Science in English with both teachers in the classroom. They have designed a one-day meal plan and then they have presented it in front of their classmates. Here you can watch their presentations.

Programa pilot d’Èxit d’anglès
Aquests curs participem com a centre al programa pilot d’Èxit d’anglès.
El programa va ser presentat en una roda de premsa a l’Institut.
El programa va ser presentat ahir a l’Institut l’Alzina per Laia Ortiz, tinenta d’alcaldia de Drets Socials i vicepresidenta del Consorci d’Educació; Carmen Andrés, consellera d’Infància, Joventut i Gent Gran de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona i José Antonio Martín, director d’Acció Educativa del Consorci d’Educació
